CONGRATULATIONS! The Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation (CI-AUF) was cited once again as one of the 30 Most Outstanding Confucius Institutes in the World during the 8th Global Confucius Institute Conference recently held in Bejing, PR China. AUF Chancellor Dr. Emmanuel Y. Angeles personally accepted the recognition from Hon. Liu Yandong, Vice Premier of the State Council of China and Chair of the Council of Confucius Institute Headquarters. In 2011, CI-AUF received the same distinction for its outstanding performance in the propagation of Chinese language and culture in the Philippines. This year, 440 Confucius Institutes and 646 Confucius Classrooms have been established in 120 countries and regions, with a total of enrolment of over 850,000 students.
